Ole Kristian Tangen - Lillestrom, Norway

He received his education at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KhiO) after studying at Spin Off - Forstudium i Dans and Lillestrøm Vidregående Skole.

Tangen has always had an interest for creating and choreographing and started therefor during his education to create small solos and duets. Mostly for his own amusement.

After creating the piece "¿alone juntos" during his time in the company IT Dansa he was invited to make a piece for the Czech Republic company South Bohemian Ballet under the direction of Attila Egerházi. He premiered his first commissioned piece "..and they disappeared" with the company March 2016. Together with Jan Kodet and Attila Egarházi, the company toured nationally and internationally with the performance.

The last past years Tangen has been situated in Barcelona where he worked two years in the company IT Dansa under the artistic direction of Catherine Allard. He did pieces by choreographers such as: Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Ina Christel Johannessen, Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, Rafael Bonachela y Montse Sánchez & Ramón Baeza.
From 2015 Tangen has been working with the Norwegian choreographer Ina Christel Johannessen in the world renowned company zero visibility corp. He has participated in the pieces “Future”, “Piano, Piano” and “Frozen Songs”, and are also to participate in the company’s upcoming production.

He is also taking part in Hege Haagenrud’s new production with premiere in Spring 2019.


Jesús Benzal - Alcalá de Guadaíra, Spain

In 2009 he graduated from Conservatorio Profesional de Danza “Antonio Ruiz Soler”, Sevilla with classical ballet as hi specialty. He continued his studies at Conservatorio Superior de Danza “María de Ávila” de Madrid, licensed in 2013 both as an interpreter and choreographer.

As a choreographer he participated in Certamen Andaluz de Coreografía 2006 and two years later he was awarded 1st prize in the same choreographic competition.

In 2013 he choreographed the piece “Errante” for his final project during his studies and obtained highest possible score.

During 2015 Benzal initiated a new choreographic collaboration together with the Norwegian dancer Ole Kristian Tangen. Since then they have participated in different festivals and choreographic completion nationally and internationally.


Benzal’s carrier as a dancer started in 2011 when became part of the Madrid based company CaraBdanza. During 2013/2014 he performed with Centro Coreográfico Galego and worked with the Swedish choreographer Johan Inger in the piece “Full House” and in Amaury Lebrun’s “Magnificat”. After that he started working with the company IT Dansa, 2014-2016, under the artistic direction of Catherine Allard and did pieces by some of the world's most extinguished choreographers: “Kamuyot” and “Minus 16” by Ohad Naharin, “Wad Ras” by Montse Sánchez &Ramón Baeza, “Un Ballo” by Jirí Kylián and “Aquil.les o l’estupor” by Ina Christel Johannessen. In 2017 he worked with the Cuban company Acosta Danza under the artistic direction of Carlos Acosta and Transit Dansa led by Maria Rovira in the production “Babel”, performing in Mercat de les Flors during Festival Grec, Barcelona.


Benzal is currently working as a choreographer in the choreographic duo Tangen|Benzal and as a freelance dancer in different projects between Spain and Norway.
